Red Questionmark was born at Ayers out of an original import mare from Van't Huttenest stock. Red was the choice of Linda Hartough from the herd Mark sold to Brewer. He was payment for a painting Linda did of Orion Light Van't Huttenest. It took me a year with Marks information to get this Pedigree out of the Dutch stud which showed his Dam Wilma aka Mother Superior was an overo, more than likely a sabino. Red has had approx. 60 foals, many going on to head up breeding programs and show stock. He has produced for us here many of our good mares and is the grandsire to Little Sample and Impressive Overo and Blue Spanish Eyes all showing the frame pattern and or DNAd to hold the gene. We purchased him by luck from the Mustardseed Farms. Many of his sons and daughters will be seen here and throughout this web site. He will always be loved and be the main foundation of all we started out with and have used in blending with our overo program..
